By listing a property, you confirm that you are legally authorised to let the property, the listing is accurate and not misleading, and you comply with all UK housing laws.

5.2 Listing Standards

Listings must include accurate rent pricing, genuine photos, and a clear property description. We reserve the right to remove listings that are misleading or fraudulent, violate legal requirements, or harm user safety.

6. Fees & Payments

Listing fees, verification fees, or premium features may apply. All payments are clearly displayed before purchase. Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise please see our Refund Policy for full details.

7. Verification Services

We may offer verification badges for landlord verification (ID / ownership checks) and tenant verification (ID / referencing checks). Verification does not guarantee trustworthiness, but helps improve transparency.

8. User Conduct

Users must not post false or misleading listings, discriminate unlawfully, attempt scams or fraud, or use the platform for illegal purposes.

9. Platform Role

YourHostMateLets is a marketplace only. We do not act as an agent unless specified, are not responsible for agreements between users, and any tenancy agreement is strictly between landlord and tenant.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for losses resulting from property transactions, inaccurate listings posted by users, or disputes between landlords and tenants. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if terms are breached, fraud or abuse is detected, or legal compliance requires it.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the website (branding, design, text) is owned by YourHostMateLets and cannot be copied without permission.
